My favorite clothing item this summer is shorts. It seems obvious, but this is the first summer in forever I have really worn them. In my earlier twenties, I felt like too much of a kid in them, when my goal was to feel older and more sophisticated. Now that I'm "older," I love the feeling of freedom I get when wearing shorts.
